Skate Demo Impressions

  This isn't a review or anything. I only played for a couple of minutes. The first thing that I did like was how the skate board is the center of attention, literally. I'ts dead center and really gives you the feeling of being on a skate board and everything else in the world just being a prop and not the main focal point.

Bioshock Review

No Spoilers (only stuff mentioned is minor details that were already in the demo)

 So guys what do you think so far. This this is easily going to be nominated for just about every game of the year award and will have a good shot at winning a lot of them. It’s a hard fall so we will have to wait but this one will definetly be a front runner.

E3 2007 (Thoughts after 2 days)

Microsoft Press Conference: I thought It started good but got kinda boring at some points. I thought the Rock band presentation was really cool. I thought that the Gears of War for PC was kind of a dumb thing. Lost Odyssey didn’t look as good as it has in the past. GTA 4 had a horrible showing because it was the same trailer we had seen before. Mass Effect looked great thought and I’m totally excited. The live arcade montage was awesome showcasing games like Sonic, Marathon, and Golden Axe.

Okay just want to give a quick update on how I will be changing how I do reviews slightly. See I love movies but it’s tough to find the time to do a mini essay on everything I see. So what I have decided is to have 2 different review systems.

Transformers (2007)

Wow just wow, I’ve just seen the best action in any film in years. Look the dialogue isn’t that great and the acting is okay but nothing special. So with that in mind “WHO CARES” this film was phenomenal. I admit to being a minor fan of Michael Bay but this was just a total surprise. This film is huge in every possible way. Hearing Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime was incredible and at times awe inspiring. I had chills running up and down my spine during the entire picture. Seeing Optimus Prime in all his glory on a fifty foot screen almost brought tears to my eyes.
